Turn to section 4.4 (pages 195-200). First, describe the “one stray detail” (page 195, second paragraph), and discuss the questions it raises for how we interpret the story of Demeter and Persephone as told in Hymn 2. Second, select a story of your own choosing, and it may be whatever media you like, including one of the contemporary poems from pages 196-200. Explain how it illustrates the continuing relevance of the story of Demeter and Persephone. About 100-150 words should do it.
