extra credit
Hi all. Below are extra credit questions--they are worth one point each for week 8's assignment. If you choose to do them they must be submitted by Tuesday 7/29. You can do them even if you have 15 points for week 8's assignment. Responses can be sent to my email. Grading will be completed prior to the end of the semester.
I was adopting another mastiff this weekend. He was supposedly cat friendly. As soon as he saw my "Godiva" cat he attacked her. To save her life I jammed my fist in his mouth and he crunched on my hand instead of Godiva. The dog turned on me and I shoved her behind a door. She was soaking wet with saliva and I assumed the worst. The dog's behavior was significant enough that both my hands are bandaged and I have three deep gouges on the side of my face. "Godiva" immediately went to the emergency vet and is sore but otherwise uninjured. Based on what we know, explain/answer each of the following
1)Godiva is not afraid of the resident mastiff (Tadhg). Why not?2)Godiva has not resumed sitting on the back of the couch (her favorite spot and where the attack began). Why not?
3)I am not afraid of Tadhg. Why not?
4)I've been to the vet with Godiva several times and I am not afraid of dogs in the waiting room. Why not?
5)I doubt I will adopt another mastiff. Why not?
6)The sound of Tadhg chewing on bones/toys makes me crazy. Why?
