In the Discussion Board for Lesson 15, you can answer any one of the following questions in relation to either or both of the topics we reviewed.
- What strengths or weaknesses do you identify in Kant's deontological ethics?
- Which ethical theory, out of all of the theories that we have considered, forms the strongest basis for a concept of universal human rights?
- How can we explain and resolve the difference between the ideals represented in the documents of the International Bill of Human Rights and the actual experience of people in the world?
