Overview
The instructions for this discussion board are follows.
1) For your first post you need to:
- copy a quote from the chapter of our textbook that goes with this unit. (Be sure to include the page number.)
- ask a question about that quote. (This should be just one sentence. It can start with "My question based on this quote is....")
- in at least 100 words, explain what made you think of that question and why it interests you.
- in another 100 words, explain how you would answer the question at this point.
When you have finished, you will be able to see all the threads started by your classmates.
2) For the second post you will need to go to one of those threads, read the original post, then type a 100-word reply. Your reply should either i) agree with how the person answered the question and develop/expand on their answer, or ii) disagree with how the person answered the question and offer a counterargument. 3) The third post should be done the same way as the second one.
4) The fourth post should also be done like the second one.
This is a completion grade - provided you write 4 posts that meet the above-mentioned criteria, you will get 100. If you write only 3 such posts you will get a 75, two will get a 50, and so on.
