Critically analyze an argument found in a printed editorial. (2-3 pages, provide a copy of the passage critiqued). Find someone who disagrees with your position on the issue and critique their argument.
If, for example, your issue is the death penalty, and you are against it, google "arguments for the death penalty" or "arguments for capital punishment" and find a 1-2 page article that is arguing in favor of the death penalty. Analyze the arguments provided in the source document and explain why you think those arguments are not persuasive. Make sure the source article is making an argument, and not just reporting on the issue.
