Assignment:
Prompt- compose an essay responding to the following questions: What terms, concepts, or ideas from the interdisciplinary field of ethics have you encountered in the assigned readings for this course that have enhanced, transformed, or called into question your understanding of your core area of academic study (i.e., your major)? What terms, concepts, or ideas do you wish every student in your major could be exposed to and why?
Please make sure your essay thoroughly describes no less than three terms, concepts, or ideas, clearly explains your reasons for thinking these terms, concepts, or ideas are worthy of study by other scholars in your field, being sure to quote amply (or paraphrase with citations) from any of the relevant assigned course readings. Finally, be sure that you introduce 2-5 peer-reviewed resources (articles or books) that illustrate and support your analysis.
The 3 concepts I want used in my essay: Deontology (Kantian Ethics, a good moral compass) , Social Contract Theory (hobbes, its a classic), Robert Nozick’s Experience Machine (because i do agree that authentcity and identity are necessary,
