Acaydia School of Aesthetics LLC Bernoulli Principle Discussion

Overview

Please respond to Sherell with 200 words

Hello Professor and Class,

Bernoulli is most certainly the most crucial figure for what I do daily. I currently work at a chemical plant, where pipes are a vital part of the infrastructure for moving chemicals. People have argued for centuries that even the water we use in our homes daily plays a critical role in society's ability to thrive. We couldn't rely on a steady flow of water or drainage if we didn't understand how pressures in a pipe interact with materials.

Knowing where fluids increase and decrease is crucial when carrying items efficiently from one site to another. Pipes are designed to transfer pressures utilizing Bernoulli's principle and a variety of pipe diameters to keep, increase, or decrease the amount of pressure in a system when it must travel a long distance between two sites. The system may not be able to supply or reach its final destination if the principle is not included in the design. While it may be safe to carry gasoline from one side of the country to the other through a pipeline if the pressure isn't too high, it may not be safe if the pressure is too high, resulting in damaged pipeline integrity.
