Overview
Testable question: How does acceleration depend on net force?
In this lab you will use videos of a fan cart on a frictionless track. The mass of the fan cart is claimed to be 275.2 g.
- The fan is set at different speed pushing air backward and the resultant pushing force of the air on the cart can be measured.
- The initial speed of the cart before being let go is zero
- The time during which the fan is working can be measured using frame count and frame rate
- The final speed when the fan is turned off can be measured using a ruler and the frame counter
- As a result the acceleration can be calculated for four different settings
- The fifth video shows a figurine on top of the cart that was used for the other four videos. you extension/application of your findings is to determine the mass of the figurine
- Create a table of measured/calculated values and produce a acceleration versus net force graph
- make sure that correct FBD and other diagrams are used in your report's intro to help with the hypothesis
- Create a lab report with all the necessary components using lab report template
- Please make a script for a video presentation I would have to record.
- Please do every step and create the lab report
