Overview
Learning Goal: I'm working on a physics report and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
Testable question: How does the range d (horizontal displacement) of a projectile motion depend on the initial height h1 where the ball is launched from a ramp?

- During phase A there is gravitational potential energy transferred to kinetic energy at the exit point of the ramp.
- During phase B there is a projectile motion with only initial horizontal velocity
- It makes sense that the higher is the drop point in the ramp the faster the ball will enter phase B. Hence the further will it fly horizontally
Your task is:
- to collect data and analyze it based on the hypothesis that you will come up with
- write a lab report presenting your results
- Create A script for video presentation as well.
The ball was dropped from 5 different height (h1) from rest. The height h2 was kept constant through all 5 launches.
