Overview
We study the contributions of many important scientists. These contributions have helped to shape our understanding of the world we live in. Many of these scientists are listed below (some of them are scientists that will be discussed in future chapters). For this assignment, you need to choose one of these scientists and write a 1-2 page paper giving a brief biographical sketch of the scientist's life and describing the main contributions they made to science. You should include a description of how their contributions shaped our understanding of the world as well.
