Overview
I'm working on a physics test / quiz prep and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
A body is thrown into the air with a certain inclination. If air resistance is neglected, the horizontal distance (x) in meters from the point of the throw and the height (y) in meters above the ground, and at the end of a time of (t = 2sec) are determined by the two equations:
x=8t^2 +2 , y = 16t^2 - 6t
Find: 1- The resultant velocity
2- The magnitude and direction of the resultant acceleration
