Overview
A circuit is composed of two coaxial cylinders of infinite length (see figure Nº 2). The inner cylinder has negligible thickness and a radius of 0.5 m. The outer cylinder has radii 1.0 and 2.0 m. A current of 3 A enters through the inner cylinder and returns through the outer cylinder with a uniform distribution. Calculate the energy stored per unit length in the magnetic field, and the self-inductance per unit length of the circuit.
