Please upload your spreadsheet with your data and a written up analysis of the events including:
(1) Ratio of electrons/muons from the “e, neutrino” and “muon, neutrino” events
(2) Ratio of W+/W- from the W+ and W- candidate events
(3) Draw a mass histogram for the 2-lepton events. Which particles did you identify in the data?
(4) Draw a mass histogram for the 4-lepton events. Which particles did you identify in the data?
(5) How many candidate Higgs events did you find ? Include a screenshot of one Higgs candidate event.
Written report should also include the following:
What is expected for (1) and (2) and how do they compare to your answers ? If your answer(s) differs, what may be the cause/reason?
For identifying particles from the mass histogram you may wish to consult the https://pdg.lbl.gov/ or research online.
