I don't know much about sports cars. I like my trusty old Subaru.😎 But I have to admit the hybrid Lamborghini Sian is pretty cool looking. It can reach 62 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph. The car uses a supercapacitor to deliver extra acceleration, which is recharged during braking. A capacitor stores and discharges energy much more quickly than a battery pack. However, capacitors can't store as much energy as the lithium-ion batteries we typically see in hybrid cars and they don't hold their charge as long. More research is needed to improve energy storage and prevent rapid discharge - maybe one of you will make a breakthrough!

Either from your own experience, or doing some research, introduce a a piece of equipment that uses a capacitor. In a paragraph describe how it works. It could be in a camera flash, a laser, a microphone, cardiac defibrillator, nuclear fusion... anything that you find interesting. I'm looking forward to learning from your posts!
