Your main goals are to determine the type of radiation emitted by each sample and the half-life of each sample. For the first sample (Sample 1) the half-life is given. You will explore two different approaches to determine/confirm that value and will determine the type of radiation. Next, you will experimentally determine the half-lives, and type of radiation, of the other two samples (Sample 2, Sample 3).
