Lab Report on Simple Pendulum

Overview

Task summary:You are to write a lab report. Write and submit a physics lab report by following the guide. Include title, date, partners, aim, brief summary, data tables with uncertainties, calculations (handwritten), graphs, analysis with interpretation, and conclusion. Ensure neat formatting, accuracy, and reflection on results.

Full order description:Dear Freelancer, please complete:📋 MAIN DETAILS:In physics lab, you will take measurements, for example distance and time; we call those raw data. You may repeat the experiment, say 10 times, and average the distance and time measurements. The average distance and time we call calculated data. You may then plug in the calculated data into an equation, for example, the equation for free fall. You will realize that once you plug in the averaged time and distance, you have enough input to calculate the acceleration of the ball - in this case, the acceleration due to gravity, also a fundamental constant. The calculated acceleration g is the result, to distinguish it from calculated data. Calculating may have been the goal of your experiment altogether! The most important part of the report is the interpretation of your result, in this case, is it in agreement with the accepted value of g? To compare your result to a given target number, you will need a confidence interval for your result, found by propagating error. So briefly, your physics lab report would be a self-contained (no loose ends) piece of work, stating the goal, listing the data, showing your calculations and answers to write-up questions, if any, stating the result, interpreting the result, and finally, a brief conclusion. Your name and your lab partners names need to be listed, together with the title and the date of the experiment.• A title, date, and partner’s names - you may format this any way you like;• Aim of the experiment - a brief statement, in active voice, for example: ”the goal of today’sexperiment is to calculate the acceleration due to gravity from measurements of distance and time foran object in free fall”;• A summary of the experiment, consisting of a visual and textual description. Summary isthe key word here - the text should be no more than 2 or 3 sentences. The visual could be the picturefrom the manual or a hand drawn sketch. Do not list the procedure steps here - this will be penalized.• DataData can come in a variety of forms - raw data is what you measure in the lab. Often raw data ismanipulated algebraically before you do a plot that tests an equation. For example, you may havemeasured distance and time for an object in free fall, and you need to plot distance as a function oftime squared. Time squared is what we refer to as ”calculated” data, and it needs to be displayedin the table together with the raw data.📎 ATTACHED:-Instructions-Manual -Background-Lab Details
