This is an exercise in discussion and policy formulation regarding current concerns and issues within our world. Students are not limited to global issues and should also include their frame of reference using local (city or town), state and federal experience and knowledge.

1) What issues, problems or special interest have developed in your environment or in the region? Think & Read
2) Assess and discern what the facts of the issue are, the specifics problem or idea being discussed.
3) Create a coherent and thoughtful summary of the issue, the major features of the issue, players involved (people), sticking points, include a thought process that analyzes the Social impact, Economic Impact and Political Impact. Think hard about what the Public Interest is in this particular event or issue and complete a concise, descriptive synopsis to be used as the platform for the policy you propose to solve, ease or assist in the resolution of the matter.
4) Initiate your policy. What specific plan do you propose to rectify or enhance the issue/concept you have?
