Overview
On the 16th of June 2022 the Heads of state of the EU member-states will meet to discuss 7th round of sanctions towards Russia in the wake of Russian invasion in Ukraine. The Summit will review possible scenarios of situation development, the effect of sanctions so far, and possible future measures.
The Summit needs to draft and prepare a decision on the ban on crude oil coming from pipelines and also consider the import of gas from Russia.
Each student has been assigned a role in the preparation and development of that decision in the simulation process itself. Research and prepare your position based on the existing documents of the organization and the interests of the country that you are representing.
