Overview
Write a brief essay that puts forward one reform of the way we elect some of our national representatives (to include U.S. House members, U.S. Senators and/or the President) and explain how that reform could help rebuild trust in institutions.
The guidelines for the assignment are:
Identify a particular problem or weakness with the way we currently conduct national elections
Identify a reform that might improve the problem/weakness you identified, and explain how it might help restore trust in institutions
Briefly assess how difficult this reform would be to implement and any barriers that might arise
