As I shared at the beginning of this chapter, music is such a powerful method of communicating people's emotions and feelings. Many artists have used music to reflect the political issues and in times like these, music also has the power to heal.
For this discussion, in a paragraph I want you to reflect on what we learned in this class and what are the current political challenges relating to our civil rights. For example: Asian hate attacks, Black Lives Matter demonstrations, LGBTQ+ and gender discrimination. Share what is your favorite song and explain what the political message is or, what is the positive message this song brings to you.
