Response paper and class presentations
The response paper has two components, the paper itself and a class presentation. You will be responsible for writing one short response paper for grading and making a class presentation based on your response paper. The paper should focus on one reading during a week that I will assign you by week 2. Your response paper should not just summarize the readings. Rather, it should make an argument about or be a reaction to the assigned readings. What did you find puzzling or unconvincing about the authors’ arguments? How and why would you approach their theoretical questions differently?
