Overview
This module we are looking at the political behavior of protest while we read Chapter 3
in our text introducing the research process. After reading Chapter 3 and the materials
assigned, complete the following assignment.
After covering the article and video this module, write a short introduction to the topic
of political protest. Then identify and introduce on a “research topic” on protest (pp
51-53) that you are interested in.
Knowing that you would have to build a literature review in order to identify rele-
vant literature and place your research within this larger body, review the sections
of Chapter 3 about identifying relevant literature and pyramid citations. Then using
Google Scholar and the ASU library databases, find five articles in peer-reviewed po-
litical science journals that relate to your interest. Make a short bibliography.
