Overview
Write a 3 page paper double spaced reacting to one or more of the READINGS in class or on Canvas (not the Wasserman text). Please state a thesis at the beginning of your essay, and prove that thesis by using the text as context and possibly evidence. Example: Thesis: The picture of America that Abraham Lincoln describes in his essay does not exist. Then you would go through at least three points/examples of why you believe this is true. There is no additional/outside sourcing required. You can choose to add outside sources, but if you do you will need to cite them in works cited list. You have the two Declaration of Independence readings to choose from as well as the presidency readings. If you still have the binding of generations exchange between Thomas Jefferson and James Madison you can use that as well. You only have to use one reading, but can use more if you can make a cohesive argument using two or more readings.
