Overview
Many corporations have diverse populations with employees who are multigenerational. Review "Cognitive Distortions," located in Topic 7 resource, then in 750–900 words total, define cognitive distortions and answer the following questions:
- Is there a difference in how each generation views emotions within the workplace?
- How could cognitive distortions effect you emotionally in business?
- Select one goal that you would like to focus on. What has kept you from achieving this goal? In a 3–5-minute video, share which cognitive distortion is impacting your success and a strategy you will use to achieve your goal. Use Canva to record your video and include the link to your video with your coaching steps.
- How would you coach someone through their cognitive distortions? Answer the question by creating five coaching steps that could be used to assist a coach in building a path forward for a client who lacks self-compassion and possesses counterproductive thoughts.
Use two to three scholarly resources to support your explanations. You will be graded based on the evidence and the theoretical research or framework to support your argument or claim.
