Overview: North Korea does not represent the existential threat to the U.S. that Russia and potentially China do. Our Allies and partners, however, can’t say that.
Instructions: Review the materials from module four and your notes on them.
- Describe the view of one of those Allies – choosing among those potentially threatened by North Korea as well as those who are not directly threatened but are our partners in diplomacy to deal with those threats.
- Describe how one aspect of that partner’s views contrasts with those of the U.S.

Remember: While you are writing with the benefit of hindsight, your perspective is the early spring of 2021 when the Biden Administration is first considering its positions.
