Essay Instructions: In an essay of at least 1,200 words, please respond directly and completely to the following question:
Refer back to the Module 3 reading on the background to the conflict in Ukraine (also available her Links to an external site.), especially the section titled “Why did Russia launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022?" on NATO’s expanding membership.
Then, please respond to the following essay question: Modules 1-3 examined realism, liberalism, historical institutionalism, and constructivism in international relations theory. Which framework (or perhaps blend of frameworks) do you think does the best job at explaining the recent developments in the current Russo-Ukrainian conflict? What does your conclusion say about your broader views regarding which theoretical framework best explains conflict and other international political phenomena more generally? Why do you hold this view?
