Think about which two positions are you most interested in role playing and why. What two positions would your experience best be suited for based on your background and future interests?

Assignment
Compose a one page memo describing:
- What each of the two positions do inside the embassy.
- Why you are interested in role playing that position.
- How would you plan to "make a difference" in implementing US policy in that area of responsibility?

- A briefing memo to the Ambassador in therequired format
- References to at least one outside source (with citations in footnotes or endnotes). For this assignment, this could be a news article detailing the issue that relates to the positions you select, or another source which further explains that role in the U.S. State Department
- Clear, succinct language
- Appropriate spelling and grammar
Assignment Of Your Country Team Role:
Once I have reviewed your submissions, I will make assignments of which embassy Country Team position you will role play during this course and will inform you directly by email and through messaging in Canvas. You will hear from me early in the 3rd week/module so you can start preparing for later assignments and the role play later in the course.
I may decide to assign you to a position where you have an interest and background, or I may assign you to a position in a new area so that you will have the opportunity to grow your experience base and knowledge in new directions.
