Overview
This course's Critical Thinking Essay assignment is a political analysis paper. It is a combination of
- persuasive essay (writer convinces the reader to adopt your position/viewpoint),
- expository essay (writer explains an idea or issue), and
- analytical essay (analyze and interprets an event).
Be sure to clearly state your thesis statement (answer to the essay prompt) in the intro paragraph. Explain why you hold the position, and support your claim with evidence from real events, chapter reading(s), and/or online lecture content.
