Political Science Question

Overview

"At the end of the semester, you will have the opportunity to present your findings on your country and its overall development. During this presentation, you should provide a brief overview of the country that includes economic, historical, political and social factors. You also want to identify its progress in achieving the UN SDGs (which goals will be met by 2030, which might be met, and which will take effort). Also, highlight the organization that is making a difference and having an overall social impact in your country. In conclusion, provide a synopsis of your country factoring in the perceived strengths and weaknesses in its overall development.

Your Country Presentation is an informative presentation. You will have the opportunity to briefly present their findings on their country and its overall development. Presentations will include a brief overview of the country that includes economic, historical, political, and social factors. You will also identify its progress in achieving the UN SDGs (which goals will be met by 2030, which might be met, and which will take effort). You will also mention an organization that is making a difference/overall social impact. Once you introduce your findings, the crux of this presentation (and where it differs from the Politics of Development paper) is that you will provide your own plan for the country's ongoing development (opportunities for further development) and you will also mention the perceived strengths and weaknesses in its overall development.

Presentations (PowerPoint or Prezi to accompany) should incorporate two to three quotes from our texts to help support your review. Presentations should be approximately 10-15 minutes in length and contain sufficient slides that follow the 6x6 rule (no more than 6 bulleted items and 6 words per bullet; consider these talking points). They should incorporate Chicago Manual of Style for citation. Please refer to The Chicago Manual of Style (via Lynn Library) for proper citation and References format."
