Overview
Highlight a strong woman in politics!
First, you will make your selection (which you will share in class). This individual should currently be active in politics. Then, you will research her biography, follow her recent activity and dealings, and highlight key policy or political decisions she has helped determine.
This paper involves three parts. First, provide her biography. Second, detail her position and any activities she has recently been involved. In this second section, you can highlight any recent meetings and travel. You may include a brief description on how you believe her activities align with her country’s political and foreign policy stance. Finally, in the third section, you want to highlight her successes (and failures) such as policy decisions, legislation, and/or plans and movement. For example, has she been involved in organizing a movement? Creating schools? Developing policy? Implementing policy?
