Overview
This is meant as a short writing assignment and should be 2-3 pages in length (double-spaced). All material referenced should be properly cited.
You are to choose one story in U.S. or international politics that in some way intersects with racial & ethnic politics. I am leaving this relatively broad so you are not forced to write on something you're not interested in, so you can choose just about anything (within reason). Whatever you choose should be connected to the podcasts transcripts that I provided you with in some way, but you can choose from any of the assigned material. This should not just be a summary of a current event, it should be analyzed through the lens of the course material. Id Prefer if you only use the material I provide you with.
