Up to this point in the course, we've used the Leyte Gulf case study to explore key operational art concepts. This session introduces the second case study for JMO1: the Falklands/Malvinas War of 1982. DBF 1-3 is your opportunity to familiarize yourself with this case and discuss it with your fellow students. Next week, you will be required to demonstrate your individual grasp of operational art concepts by analyzing the Falklands/Malvinas War on Summative Assessment 1.
Your professor will assign questions to individuals or groups from a list that addresses objectives, operational factors, center of gravity, and functions.
