- This should be comprehensive. You should be able to explain why your paper is organized as it is and explain the transitions to the next section. Why is this specific piece of evidence here? Why did you choose these sections? Make that clear.
- The more effort you put into this, the easier your final paper will be to write.
- Academic writing is often formulaic, this assignment is about organization. It should have a logical flow. Your thesis should be a roadmap for the entire outline.
- Worry less about writing in an academic tone and worry more about making sense for this assignment.
