Overview
Need assessment completing a Research Method Analysis in a 5- to 8-page paper in which you will examine research methods used by social psychologists. The Research Methods Analysis consists of (3) parts:
Part 1: Locating and Identifying Research Studies, in which you will use the Library databases to identify, locate, and read five social psychology research studies—one for each of the following research methods: observational, correlational, experimental, phenomenological, and case study.
Part 2: Choosing the Right Research Method for a Research Question; in this part, you will create a research question and identify and justify an appropriate research method to answer your question. In the last part,
Part 3: Applied Research Methods, you will be provided summaries of five social psychology studies; you will identify the research methods applied.
