After reading the week materials, discuss all six of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Dimensions. Make sure you:
- Include how you obtain the necessary information needed for each dimension.
- Discuss how the ASAM Dimensions are used in the treatment process.
- Discuss level of care and how the ASAM Dimensions provide guidance on deciding the most appropriate treatment placement.
- Describe the process of formulating the preliminary diagnosis based on the DSM-5-TR and the information in the ASAM Dimensions.
