Overview
You will take the summaries you’ve written so far, organize them in a way that is coherent (i.e., you don’t need to describe them study-by-study, but you can organize them according to the similarity of their findings, or important topics, much like the introduction sections of the papers you've read), provide transitions between the various summaries, add an introductory paragraph that orients the reader to the topic and purpose of your paper, and conclude with a summary paragraph that contains your research question and original, testable hypothesis. The hypothesis must be grounded in the established research and theory you’ve reviewed and should not be a simple restatement of the findings you've already described. Include a title page and references section.
Proper citation is key. Make sure you are offering in-text citations for each idea that comes from an outside source using APA style (Author Last Name, Year) - do not include full author names, names of articles, or names of journal titles. These are the official instructions for the paper.
I am attaching a sample paper, the article summaries I did on articles related to the topic (the references are at the end of each) and the articles I used! It does not have to be perfect, please make it sound human and have a few mistakes! Please let me know if you have any questions. My research topic is: the influence of music genres on mood/productivity.
