Overview
Prepare a practice Case Conceptualization based on the following information:
- Max is a 24-year old White male who presents with mild depressive symptoms and long standing difficulties with social functioning. Max reported growing up in an environment characterized by conflict and argumentative relationships. Client reports he recently moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles to attend graduate school where he currently resides with two roommates in which he has uncommunicative relationships. Max reports no current intimate relationship and presented with self-critical rumination. Client was previously diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, reports he participated in 23 sessions of previous therapy. Max recently scored 14 on the BDI-2 indicating mild depression and presently denies any Suicidal/Homicidal Ideation.
