Overview
In a two-page journal this week, address at least three (3) of the following questions:
- Compare and contrast the social world of adolescents, including sexual development today, with that of your own adolescence. What similarities and differences do you find?
- Think of a middle school, junior high school, or high school with which you are familiar. If you could change the school (academically, structurally, or otherwise), what changes would you make, and why?
- Were you an early, on-time, or late-maturing adolescent? What impact did your physical development have on your adjustment and your peer group relationships? What effect did it have on your sexual development?
- Reflect on the development of your cultural identity. How has this aspect of your self-system influenced your life?
