In general, Essay questions are an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency from completing weekly lessons, assigned readings, and your research. For most questions, a 250-word response (1 page double spaced) is sufficient to address the question. You will not be held to exactly that word count, but significant deviations (+/- 20%) should be avoided.
Please submit a Word document that lists the essay question (in bold), followed by your response. Remember to support your answers with in-text literature citations and full references (formatted using APA guidelines) after each response.
- How do ACEs and Toxic Stress affect college students and their academic performance and success? Explain with examples.
- How could you raise awareness of ACEs on a college campus? Why is this (or is this not) an important priority? Explain with examples.
- Discuss at least ONE intervention to help prevent and/or reduce ACEs, and explain their impact on health, safety, and wellness on a college campus.
