Be sure your paper includes the following parts:
- Provide a description of the interviewee’s life chronologically, highlighting major events. Describe the circumstances, relationships, and events that have shaped this person's life. This should not be in a question-and-answer format. You can use your draft from Week 3 to begin this part of the paper.
- Consider the overlapping identities of this person. Please discuss issues of privilege and oppression in this person’s life. How has this person been impacted by issues of privilege and marginalization?
- Reflect on their life and significant events, identify at least three principles of lifespan development that relate to this person’s life. Share how the principles you identified can help you to explain how this person’s life progressed.
- Discuss the passage through the different developmental phases for the individual and how it impacted the individual.
- Explain how have the interviewee's interests, goals, attitudes, and/or meaning of life changed over the years? Given their developmental history and present situation, what might you expect in their next stage in life?
- Share your reaction to having completed this assignment, focusing particularly on how your attitudes and feelings towards human development have changed or been clarified.
