This assignment should be three pages long, including the citation page. You may write about one and a half pages of content and use one page for citations.
For this work, you must cite sources throughout the text. DO NOT using personal statements such as “I believe that” or “I think that.” This paper should not include personal opinions. Instead, use scientific or topic-related sources that you can properly cite, including both in-text citations and a reference page following APA style.
Please remember to use clear and simple language throughout your writing.There is evidence that depression is associated with biological changes in the brain, for instance dysregulation of neurochemicals. Do you think that depressed individuals who have committed violent crimes against others (case in point: Andrea Yates, the mother who drowned all five of her children while suffering from depression) should be held morally accountable for their actions? (Note that we will discuss their legal accountability in a future lecture).
