The issue of individual civil rights for the seriously mentally ill is a major controversy today. Do you feel that patients with schizophrenia should ever be hospitalized and retained against their will? If you answer yes, under what conditions should the decision be made and who should have the authority to make this decision?Use citations throughout the text and avoid phrases such as “I think” or “I believe,” since this paper should not express personal opinions.
The paper must use simple language and clear paragraphs. Each idea presented should be supported by in-text citations.
The paper should be three pages long: two pages containing the main text and one page for the references. A cover page with the student’s name, professor’s name, or university’s name is not required. The reference page must follow APA formatting guidelines.
