PART ONE

We are approaching the end of the semester. It is time to prepare for the Final Application Project, which will be due in place of the Final Exam. There will be three assignments to help set up the project over the next few weeks. The first step is to consider some human behaviors that you could analyze. Just list your ideas. Do not write or explain them, list them!

Brainstorming (from the last chapter discussed, Chapter 10) Ideas for the Application Project

List at least 10 ideas that you could use for your topic

NOTE: Do not answer; list the ideas for further review

Just fill-in the following question:

PART TWO

This week, we are selecting a phenomenon (behavior) from the Brainstorming List for the Application Project.

1. Choose your Topic from the Brainstorming List,
2. State your Research Question
3. Name the Psychological Theory you chose in W2A (Cognitive, Behavioral, Social Learning, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic Theory)
4. Create your Hypothesis
5. Analyze which Research Method could test your hypothesis (Case Study, Naturalistic Observation, Laboratory Observation, Experiment, Survey)--if you are not sure which Method at this time, please state that

This week will begin to focus on locating (3) Articles on your topic and (1) Article on your Psychological Theory chosen in week 2. Please start searching for them and let me know if you encounter any challenges locating Peer-Reviewed Articles on your topic.
