This optional assignment is to watch the movie "A Beautiful Mind".
You can find it online or streaming, but here is a link I found to a copy of the movie, you just have to watch a couple commercials: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9ihi7eLinks to an external site.
Afterwards, read a bit about schizophrenia. Then, in a paragraph or two explain a way in which schizophrenia was portrayed accurately and a way in which the movie creators took liberties. Here is a short article commenting on the movie and its portrayal of both the main character (a real person) and his dealing with the mental disorder.
