This assignment should focus on two movies, but each movie must be addressed in a separate document. In other words, create two individual Word documents, each one fully completing all required instructions according to the attachments and the guidelines provided in the body of the text.

Throughout the course, I will mention movies that have relevance to our course material. I believe that watching these movies can enhance your appreciation and understanding of mental illness and the issues that surround the field.
Watch two of the movies listed below (or get approval to use a different movie from your TA). For each movie:
1)Write a synopsis of the movie plot
2)Write a description of one character with mental disorder and criteria they exhibit for thatdisorder
3)Describe how the disorder was treated (if, in fact, it was treated). If it was not treated, suggest anevidence-based treatment.
4)Describe how the depiction of the disorder is consistent (or perhaps inconsistent) with what wasdiscussed and read in this course.
5)Discuss the possible etiology of that disorder (biological and/or environmental) as it pertains tothe character in the movie. Support your etiology discussion with evidence from two peer-reviewed articles not mentioned in our class (In other words, you will need to do some additionalresearch on the etiology of the disorder). Make sure to cite these articles using APA style andinclude them in a Reference section at the end of your paper.
6)The entire write-up for each movie should be 31/2-4 pages double-spaced (for a total of 7-8pages not including the Title page or Reference page(s). Think of the assignment as two, separate,short papers. So your paper will be organized like this:•Title Page (see sample paper)
7)You do not have to connect the two movies. Each of your two movies is reviewed separately.
8)You are welcome to view and discuss the movies in groups. However, the written paper must beyour own individual work. Do not use AI for this assignment.
9)Academic honesty: Any paper which cuts and pastes material from another source, such as AIor other internet sources, without proper citation will receive a “0”
To submit the paper: Even though the assignment is like two short papers, please upload it to the course website as a single file (doc, docx, or pdf).
