PSYC 2002 ASSESS 1

Introduction

Academics often talk about self-regulation in learning. This is a fancy way to say that successful learners regulate (control) themselves: their thoughts, their emotions, their motivations, and their actions. This includes skills like time management, emotion regulation, planning, and attention/focus while learning. Time management is key to being successful in college. In the first assessment, you'll consider how you spend your time, where more time could be awarded, and also where some activities could be allocated less time to adjust for new school activities. This exercise can also be used beyond this course to ensure a successful and balanced college career.
