My partner and I topic is on Spirituality V. Religion: The impact of Spiritual beliefs on clients’ and counselors’ worldview
This course emphasizes the broader societal context in which oppression and privilege
influence everyone’s perceptions and experience around culture. Linking course material to everyday life is important in seeing the concepts in action. Thus, student groups are given the opportunity to share a current event.
Students will form small groups of two to three people based on the identified topic of the
week as outlined in the Course Calendar and Overview table above
. During your group’s assigned week, you will work together to create a Current Event post on the discussion board. Though groups are graded together, each of you is responsible for your own contribution. Meaning that if you do not contribute to the post in a meaningful way, you will not receive points for this component of the
