Overview
The use of projective personality testing is controversial among psychologists and researchers. For the discussion this week, you will create a PowerPoint presentation. The first slide will be the title slide, including Week 4 Discussion, course number and name, and your name. The second slide will include five bullets, five words each bullet with citations for each bullet point from the course textbook and scholarly sources to “provide an overview of projective testing, including information on administration, scoring, interpretation.” The third slide will include five bullets, five words each bullet with citations from the course textbook and scholarly sources to “provide an overview of projective testing, including information on validity, reliability, or rater error.” The fourth slide will include five bullets, five words each bullet with citations from the course textbook and scholarly sources to “choose one published projective test (your book includes a discussion of some, there are many more you can find) and present a critical review of it for your classmates. Remember your classmates may not know anything about this test, so provide a good overview and critical evaluation. You may want to include examples or images to support your post.” The fifth slide will be your reference list.
Select the "Week 5 Discussion" link above, then, select "Reply" to add your response to the discussion questions. You must make a minimum of four substantive contributions on two separate days of the learning week to the discussion topic. Read over the course syllabus and the grading rubric for discussions before posting. For your initial discussion response use the course textbook and one peer-reviewed journals, scholarly source or two peer-reviewed journals, scholarly sources for the information you are paraphrasing and citing is due by Wednesday. Provide three student responses during the week with at least one scholarly source you are paraphrasing and citing each time. Do not post all three responses only on Saturday and Sunday, which doing so does not contribute to effective weekly engagement with your fellow students. All posts need to be completed before 11:59 PM EST on Sunday. Be sure to adhere to American Psychological Association (APA) 7th ed. style. Additionally, you are required to respond to questions asked by your professor. .PART 2 This week we are continuing the test development project by including information on how you plan to construct your test. Additionally, you should discuss how you will establish reliability and validity for your test. Your responses this week will build on your assignment from week 3 - this assignment will include the previous content as well as the questions below. Be sure to include any feedback provided by your professor to improve your paper.
You may use this template to help organize your paper:
