Research Question and Hypothesis
This course includes a Final Project. For the Final Project, you will develop a Research Proposal in a 10- to 12-page research paper. To do this, you will need to choose a topic of study and create a research question and hypothesis. The research question and hypothesis will act as the foundation for your Research Proposal.
For this Assignment, you will develop a research question and hypothesis for your Research Proposal for your chosen topic and receive Instructor feedback.
To Prepare
- Review this week’s Learning Resources, including the instructions for the Final Project: Research Proposal Instructions found in Module 4, Week 9, of the course.
- Consider a topic of study for your Research Proposal that you would like to explore further.
Assignment (1–3 paragraphs):
- Describe the topic of study you have chosen for your Research Proposal.
- Write a research question and hypothesis for your Research Proposal.
Be sure to support your Final Project Assignment with specific references to behavior-analytic theory and research. In addition to the Learning Resources, search the Walden Library and/or the internet for peer-reviewed articles to support your Final Project Assignment. Use proper APA format and citations, including those in the Learning Resources.
