You will take part in a test that measures your implicit attitudes. Go to the following website:

Do any 2 of the tests that are listed there and save the results of each one. (The results sheet should say “You have completed the XXXXXX IAT” at the top, and your results should be listed below as “Your data suggest XXXXXX…”). Write up one paragraph that describes how the Implicit Association Test (IAT) measures implicit attitudes. In other words, what is the logic that the IAT uses to come to a conclusion about your implicit attitudes? There are explanations of how the test works on the website. In particular, check out the section called "About the IAT" as well as the answer to the question "How did you decide what IAT feedback I got?" in the "Frequently Asked
Questions" section.
Do NOT copy the explanation – describe how the IAT works IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Any instances of plagiarism—including copying from ChatGPT or other online AIs—will result in being reported to the Office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity.
This assignment is due on Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 11:59pm. It should be submitted via Canvas. You should submit the two results sheets (you can copy and paste them into a document) as well as the one paragraph explanation of the test.
**Note: The IAT often reveals to people that they have undesirable implicit attitudes, much to their surprise. This is completely normal, and does NOT necessarily mean that you are a prejudiced person
